Our Mission

Children playing hopscotch

Nostalgia is a habit we can't quite kick, and the literary coming-of-age story offers the reader a unique opportunity for a second chance at youth, a second crack at those monsters squeezed tight beneath the bed. These stories and essays are opportunities to wash our faces properly before the pimple appears on prom night, to retrieve our underwear from the top of the flag pole before the cheerleading squad shows up. These are the works that flash one more second on the play clock, sneak in one last dance, allowing us to conjure all the old ghosts we'd long since scared away. Welcome to You Must Be This Tall To Ride, dedicated to promoting the literary coming-of-age.

Step right up. Your ride has just begun.
